We use that understanding to create investment portfolios that are rooted in proven academic research, common sense, and a thorough knowledge of our clients’ needs, financial goals, and risk tolerances.
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER & CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICER
James Langer, CFA
James is a principal and co-founder at Redmont Wealth Advisors, LLC. Prior to co-founding Redmont, James was with Advisory Research for 24 years, acting as a portfolio manager for the small-cap value and mid-cap value strategies. He also led the high-net worth advisory practice at the firm. Prior to joining Advisory Research, James graduated from the University of Chicago where he worked with Nobel prize winner Eugene Fama at the Center for Research in Securities Prices for several years. James also graduated with his MBA from Northwestern University.
James is committed to giving back to the global community. He is on the Board of Advisors of Pencils of Promise, a charity that builds schools and promotes education worldwide, and also supports the Redford Foundation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST
Jason Ryder
Jason is the lead Research Analyst at Redmont Wealth Advisors, LLC. Before joining Redmont, Jason was with Sterling Partners and Dearborn Partners for 18 years, acting as Senior Equity Analyst and Assistant Portfolio Manager for the Small-Cap Value strategy. In addition, he worked with Schott Group Investment Consulting as an Institutional Consultant for Public Pensions, Endowments & Foundations, and Taft Hartley Accounts.
Jason graduated from Indiana University with his MBA in Finance and Michigan State University with his BA in Finance.
PARTNER
Bradley Brancovsky
Brad Brancovsky joined Redmont to assist in the marketing and business development aspects of the business. He also helps with the day-to-day operations. Prior to Redmont, he was an intern for Oswald Companies, one of the largest independent risk management firms in the nation. He worked closely with the sales and marketing teams at the firm. He also worked for various startups in the Chicago area in the past.
Brad holds a bachelors degree from John Carroll University.
EQUITY RESEARCH & OPERATIONS INTERN
Emmanuel Enriquez
Emmanuel Enriquez joined Redmont in December 2023 as an Equity Research & Operations intern. Before Redmont, Emmanuel interned for Piper Sandler in equity sales & trading and for Vaughan Nelson Investment Management in international small-mid cap equity research.
Emmanuel won scholarships from the Security Traders Association of Chicago (STAC) in 2023 and Financial Executives International Chicago (FEI) in 2024. He is on track to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in May 2024 from the University of Illinois Chicago.
